A unique photographic book in a hand-made wooden case, containing a corpus of 21 typewritten poems and 22 original toned cyanotypes.
It usually takes 10 to 20 years for repressive memories of incest to resurface. This is the story of a woman who despises herself and doesn't know why. Of a raw and terrible memory that emerges to stand in the light. The cracks in the ice are profound, the ground is shifting. Sometimes the snow covers them with a soft coat. Sometimes not.
FENDU/E is composed of a mirrored corpus of poems (by Aurore Matsa) and coffee-toned cyanotypes (by Bastien Deschamps) telling the reemergence of this childhood memory.
